I’ll confess, the 80s and 90s were my favourite decades for reasons too numerous (and boring) to mention here, but that’s why I’m a huge fan of Radwood events.
Radwood have successfully held events celebrating everything “rad” from the 80s and 90s, not just in the USA but around the world. Much like Goodwood Revival expects period correct clothing to be worn to help the atmosphere and provide an extra dimension to the event, so too does Radwood with folks rocking some seriously questionable gear that is hugely entertaining.
Given the amount of auction platforms around these days it’s hard to think it would make good business sense to start another. But with the likes eBay becoming an outlet for those distributing crap from Ali Express with a huge markup there is certainly a place for more niche or segmented platforms.
And so Radwood are launching Rad For Sale, a place where you’ll be able to find “Daily auctions of vehicles and other RADness from the 80s and 90s”.
Naturally there’ll be 80s and 90s cars and bikes for auction but hopefully we’ll start to see items like Powell Peralta and H-Street skate decks, Nintendo NES systems and games, Air Jordans, Haro bicycles, art, albums, and who knows what else.
Visit Rad For Sale for more.
