RM Sothebys are holding a one-make sale in partnership with Aston Martin for Monterey Car Week and one of the early entries is this stunning 1964 DB5 with just the one owner for the last 40 years.
The DB5 in question is factory left-hand-drive, sporting chassis no. DB5/1305/L and just the fifth DB5 ever produced, sold new through British Motor Car Distributors in San Francisco to the Washington Fruit & Produce Corporation. Later, it was purchased by the current owner in 1981 off the street in Sausalito, California.
The auction will take place on 15 August 2019 at the Monterey Conference Center promising over 30 of the world’s most desirable road and track based Aston Martin’s right across the brand’s 106-year history.
